1. Connect with Nature
Nature tends to have a grounding effect. Going outside for 10 minutes can be helpful!
2. Take your vitamins
Many symptoms that are attributed to mental health concerns could be resolved by taking the appropriate vitamins.
3. Eat breakfast
Indeed, breakfast is still considered the most important meal of the day. As a result, starting your morning with a healthy meal can boost your energy and prepare you for the day ahead.
4. 10 minute meditation or prayer
Research shows that meditation and prayer lead to calmer emotions, increased concretion and a more positive outlook on life.
5. Daily reading
Reading 10 minutes per day can improve sleep and reduce stress. It doesn’t have to be a self-help book, it can be fantasy one. I do recommend reading Atomic Habits by James Clear. Moreover, this book has truly transformed the way I approach habit formation. It explains the basics of habits and how to create lasting change by working from the inside out.
6. Cooking at home regularly
Not only do we gain physical benefits from cooking at home, but we also experience financial savings. As a result, this can lead to an overall reduction in stress.
7. Drink water in the morning
Drinking water in the morning helps boost your metabolism and fight toxins. As a rule of thumb, you can start with the typical 64 ounces of water per day. In addition, some experts recommend aiming for half of your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, that would mean drinking 75 ounces of water per day.
